Visual Floor is designed to ease the administration of an office environment by enabling the Visual assigning and tracking
of assets and employee seating locations in an easy to use, dynamic, web-based interface. Have you ever wondered
where that project manager sits or what he looks like? Ever want to know what equipment was in the South Wing
conference room? Where and what types of assets are in the computing envrironment? Where is the nearest printer to
my office? How many spare PCs do we have in stock? By using Visual Floor, the answers to these questions and more will
be at your fingertips.
Graphical Interface
Optimum Path will create a graphical representation of your office floor plans which will allow you to dynamically assign,
view and track all resources and employees directly on the office or cube which they occupy. Assets, employees or other
resources can be assigned to a seat with a drag-and-drop functionality which makes it easy to maintain and requires little
to no training to provide single source administration of your company's key resources.
Employee Tracking
The Employee Tracking features allow company administrators or Human Resources to quickly on-board new hires or
identify locations of existing employees. By assigning a spare PC, printer, phone, etc from the database of unused
resources, work ordered for Technology teams can easily be created with full information required to set up the new hire.
With the standard Search feature, system users can find employees by name, phone number, email address, or any other
criteria maintained in the database.
Asset Tracking
Companies are required to maintain accurate records of their technology assets in order to properly record depreciation, disposal of retired assets, etc. Visual Floor's powerful back end database can store information related to any resource which needs to be tracked in your company, including PCs, Printers, Fax Machines, Copiers, Phones and more. This capability allows office administrators easy access to companywide summary data as well as detailed asset information by generating simple reports from the Visual Floor interface. Adding and maintaining the database is simple and assets can be assigned to users or office with the click of a mouse button.
Reports
Visual Floor contains a series of standard reports which consolidate key information stored in the database for review or publication. A sample list of reports maintained in the product are as follows:
- Employee Contact List - This report can be generated by City, Building, Department or for the full Company.
- Asset Listing by Type - Assets are grouped by type (ie PC, Printer, Phone, etc) for easy review by executives or administrators.
- Detailed Asset Listing - Full listing of fields stored for each asset in the database.
