What is Visual Floor?
Visual Floor is an application designed to provide an easy to use interface for managing, planning and tracking a company's employees and assets. The graphical nature of the program allows point-and-click and drag-and-drop functionality while utilizing your actual blueprint floorplans. By allowing multiple floor plans, various asset categories and a flexible back end database, Optimum Path can quickly and easily get your company set up to track your valuable corporate resources with a custom application deployment.
What are the typical uses of Visual Floor?
Visual Floor can be used as an Asset Management tool for companies that want to better control their resource allocation. By using our state-of-the-art Flash KPI technology, Visual Floor makes a great what-you-see-is-what-you-get monitoring system for data centers, network operation centers, call center, etc. Visual Floor also serves as a Company Visual Guide for executives, as well as for employees. Whether you want to track the location of a printer or find out what the new hires look like and where they sit, Visual Floor can help to find this information in a couple mouse clicks.
How much does Visual Floor cost?
Visual Floor has an annual fee for the hosting of your company data and the provision of a single administrative logon account. Additional user and administrative logons will be charged an additional fee for each user logon accessing the system. Whats the typical deployment cycle?
Optimum Path will work with you to collect the blueprints and employee/asset information to populate our system. This information is provided in our Excel spreadsheet templates or alternatively, can be exported/imported from a database you maintain with the data. Once the information is collected, Optimum Path will create your portal site and provide the needed remote training for you to maintain the application going forward.
Is Visual Floor deployed to my network or is it available in a hosted(ASP) model?
Visual Floor can either be deployed to your network OR it can be accessed via our hosted portal solution. Costs and support arrangements vary based on your particular implementation, so please contact a Visual Floor Sales representative at sales@visualfloor.com to discuss the specifics of the overall solution.

Which browsers can run the Visual Floor application?
Optimum Path conducts rigorous quality assurance testing with Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
How do I receive product upgrades?
If you are using our hosted application solution then the upgrades will be automatically applied to your installation when the central servers are upgraded. If you have local network installation then we will provide your IT contact the upgrade software and work with you to get your system upgraded to the latest version.
Can Visual Floor be used as my company's visual directory system?
Yes. Visual Floor makes a great visual directory system for any company, building, hospital, etc. When combined with touch screen technology, users can easily locate any resource without a keyboard or mouse.
Can Visual Floor be integrated to my existing HR, Finance or other database systems?
Yes. Optimum Path can evaluate your business requirements and provide a custom solution to meet your comapny needs. This includes the ability to integrate the system with existing company databases to eliminate the need to maintain multiple sources of information related to employees and assets.
